Jul 19, 2018 · I put a sd card in and it recorded immediately. I then formatted using the dash cam. And as is often the case, higher quality comes at a higher cost. I went for a drive this morning (and made sure it was recording), and removed the micro sd card when I got home. I went to format the 128gb card and then the screen kept saying format micro sd card and it refused to record. Every time I pressed record it would then say format the card, even though it had recorded before I selected format within the dash cam. First I choose cancel but then the prompt to reformat came back up so I decided to select ok to format the card.
